White Wine | Gaja Ca’Marcanda Vistamare Toscana | Gaja

Vermentino, Viognier. Aged for 6 months in oak barrels. Clean and bright lemon green color. On the nose, it opens with notes of white flowers and citrus fruits, as well as hints of melon and peaches. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh, with a rounded body. The finish is clean with mineral notes. Pairs well with seafood, salads, and white pasta dishes. Toscana D.O.C. Italy.

Cabernet Franc,Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Bright and deep color. Rich and complex with notes of carob (chocolate) and tamarind. On the palate, it is vibrant with flavors of grapefruit, blood orange, and Mediterranean botanical herbs. Extremely juicy with silky fine-grained tannins, a long and savory finish. Nebbiolo. Aged in oak for 12 months, then blended and aged in barrels for another 18 months. Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. It combines subtle hints of red fruits with intense floral and balsamic notes. The structure on the palate is well-defined. Pairs well with baked dishes, slow-cooked red meats, stews, roasts, thick and spicy sauces. Aged cheeses, dark chocolate cake, crystallized figs stuffed with gorgonzola. Piamonte. Italy.

Red Wine | Gaja Ca’Marcanda Bolgheri Rosso | Gaja

Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot. Bordeaux blend, oak barrel aged for 18 months. Ruby red in color with garnet shades. The nose is generous with intense aromas of aromatic herbs, cinnamon, myrtle and graphite. On the palate, it is dominated by fruit with evident notes of cherry, raspberry and blood orange (Tarocco). Fine-grained tannins balance the acidity and result in a wine with considerable volume on the palate. The finish is long and elegantly saline. Pairs well with aged cheeses and red meats. Bolgheri, Toscana. Italy.
