White Wine | Chardonnay Heintz Vineyard | Senses

$4,641

      Chardonnay.

The Heintz family has owned the ranch for over 100 years. Ideal Goldridge soil, healthy, mature vines, warm days balanced with cool nights and a grower who has been working the land since 1982 all contribute to Robert Parker’s assessment of the vineyard as “…one of the great grand cru Chardonnay sites in California.”

      Bright golden yellow.

Besides potential flavors imparted by barrel aging, this Chardonnay could offer a combination of tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, along with citrus notes and balanced acidity. The characteristic minerality of Sonoma Coast wines may also be present, adding depth and complexity to the wine.

Seafood, fatty fish, poultry, and creamy pasta dishes. Given its potential barrel aging, it can also complement richer and more intensely flavored dishes, such as risottos, herb-roasted chicken, or pork dishes.

      Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California.

       Estados Unidos.
