     Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it uses grapes sourced exclusively from Carneros and adheres to the traditional Champenoise production methods. This blend of 58% Pinot Noir and 42% Chardonnay is meant to be enjoyed young, when the vibrant fruit character takes center stage, but with enough maturity to achieve a rounded and harmonious flavor. The Domaine Carneros Cuvée de la Pompadour Brut Rosé pays tribute to the life and times of Madame de Pompadour (the great courtesan and mistress of Louis XV) who is credited with introducing champagne at the French court and who influenced art, architecture, and philosophy. Her famous quote: “Champagne is the only wine that lets a woman remain beautiful” is a testament to her love for the bubbly drink.

     The Domaine Carneros Brut Rosé itself is a well-balanced wine that features more prominent fruity and floral notes compared to its Brut or Le Rêve offerings. The aroma reminds one of wild strawberries and roses, complemented by peach notes. Despite its pale pink hue, the Brut Rosé is not sweeter than its other wines; it remains an authentic Brut.

      It is recommended to accompany this wine with duck, salmon, and desserts including fresh berries1. It’s also an excellent choice for enjoying with soft cheeses or seafood.
