    Shiraz.     Aged for 12 months in new French and American oak barrels.     A deeply intense red wine.    Characterized by black fruit presence, hints of tobacco and spices. A wine with excellent persistence, good acidity, and very smooth tannins.    Pairs well with red meats such as steaks and roasts. Also pairs well with stews, game, and dishes with heavy tomato sauces, such as roasted turkey.
