Merlot.
Blend of Merlot and Carménère, 70% of the wine aged in American oak for 10 months.
Intense ruby red color with garnet edges, clean and bright.
Aromas of cherries, blackberries, and figs, with clear notes of mint, clove, and vanilla. Background hints of tobacco and walnut complete the profile. On the palate, it is expressive, mature, and has sweet tannins. The presence of fruit and toasty notes is very well balanced, leaving a taste of ripe fruit with very good persistence.
It pairs magnificently with pastas and poultry in general, even better with thick and spicy sauces. It goes well with medium-aged cheeses, stews, and dishes with Arabic or even Moroccan influences.
