Tempranillo.
Aging for 22 months.
Ruby red with garnet edges, brick tones. Good adherence to the glass.
Very complex, with medium to high intensity. Very ripe fruits like figs, red berries from the forest. Spicy (vanilla, cocoa) and toasted notes (coffee, tobacco), with a hint of coconut in the background. Rich and deep, very meaty, confirming the olfactory promise, with a prolonged finish and balanced acidity. Harmonious, mature, and smooth tannins.
Pairs well with moderately to highly seasoned dishes, such as roasted red meats, cured meats, game meats, roast suckling pig, marinated duck, roast lamb, chicken in various preparations, lightly spicy sauces, and cheese.
