100% Mencía.
2 months in French and American oak barrels.
Cherry red color with violet hues. Clean and bright.
Medium-high aromatic intensity. Predominantly varietal aromas of red fruits like currants, cherries, and strawberries, as well as floral aromas with notable violet notes. With a subtle contribution from the toasted wood. On the palate, it is perceived as elegant and balanced; powerful and with notable volume. It is a wine with particular freshness, velvety tannins, and a very fruity aftertaste.
It is a very versatile wine in terms of pairing. It perfectly accompanies roasted or stewed meat, small game, carpaccio, cured meat, pasta, pâtés, and sheep cheeses.
