Pinot Noir.
8 months in barrel.
Cadmium red in color with a slight bricking on the rim.
Raspberry, bing cherry and bergamot aromas are powerful and intense. Soy, clove, orange rind and iron notes support the primary aromas nicely. Background notes of tobacco and forest floor further add intrigue and complexity to the nose. The entry on the palate is broad and quite intense with powerful flavors that are complex such as bing cherry, pomegranate, wet stone, soy and iron. The midpalate is firm, and structured with powerful but integrated tannin, supple texture and round viscosity. The finish is long and persistent.
It pairs well with light to medium meats such as chicken, pork, lamb, and beef.
