White Wine | Albariño Martín Códax Lías | Martín Códax

$998

   Albariño.

The wine and the selected fine lees are subjected to batonnage for two months, giving it creaminess and volume on the palate. Then, it undergoes ten months of aging in stainless steel tanks with the lees at rest to achieve the desired balance.

   Intense straw yellow color.

High aromatic intensity, with notes of very ripe pear, apple, and white peach, reminiscent of aging on very clean lees (yeast, bakery, and vanilla). Broad entry on the palate, creamy and voluminous, with a good passage, long and fruity aftertaste, with dairy and bakery notes.

Pairs well with rice dishes, pasta, fish, and cheeses.

   D.O. Rias Baixas; Cambados, Galicia.

    Spain.
